DO NOT pack in plastic bags or tie in bundles. Please do not put Junk mail in any type of bag or box. White office paper, colored paper, computer paper, notebook paper, junk mail, envelopes (windows ok), manila folders, yellow pad paper,sticky notes, & paperback books are ok. NO motor oil, transmission oil or antifreeze containers. Non-coded or coded #3-7 WILL NOT be acceptable. MUST rinse clean. Milk and water jugs, Colored detergent bottles, softener and bleach bottles -You may flatten plastic bottles to save space for your home storage. We no longer accept any glass, glass bottles, glass jars of any type. DO NOT pack in plastic bags or tie in bundles Magazines, phone books, paperback books & catalogs ok. Paper labels OK -Place lid inside can and pinch end close to keep lid inside. Aluminum & steel beverage cans will be separated automatically at the Recycling Center. All paste board boxes must have wax liner removed, including cereal boxes. Remove packing materials, such as foam, peanuts & bubblewrap. TIME: Collections begin at 7:00 a.m. Please have your Mighty Tidy™ out and ready for collection. Only tagged bags outside the cart will be picked up

Any bags outside of the cart that do not have a prepaid tag attached will not be picked up. Any resident needing additional bags picked up over the 1 full cart limit may purchase bag tags from WERLOR and Village of Hicksville Office. EACH BAG must have a prepaid bag tag placed on the top of the bag. Tags are $1.75 each and may be purchased by calling the Werlor office, or at the village office.ĮXTRA BAGS: Residents are allowed to place extra garbage bags (up to 30-gallon in size) outside of 1 cart trash limit. Residents are allowed one full cart of trash per week.We offer credit card and direct deposit payment options.Please do not place brush or yard waste in your carts. Yard waste and brush may be taken to the village garage on North Defiance Street where it will be shredded for mulch.Please familiarize yourself them and preparation of items. Acceptable recyclable materials are listed below.Bulk items are pre-paid and will be picked up on your trash day. Should you have bulk items such as mattresses, furniture, appliances, etc., you may arrange for disposal by contacting our office at 41.If Mighty Tidy™ is damaged or stolen, contact Werlor at 41.Overfilled containers cannot be dumped.clearance between them on recycling weeks. Each container should also have 3 to 4 ft. clearance around the container including mailboxes, trees, limbs, poles, vehicles, etc. The handle of the container will be toward the home. Arrows on the lid should point toward the road. Containers should be placed with the LID OPENING toward the road.Your route is automated.This means that in order for your containers to be picked up, they must be placed curbside.
